10 Spring Trends Im Shopping Pt1

So last month I focused on shopping my closet with transitional items to incorporate into the Spring … now let’s dive into some trends I will be bringing into my personal wardrobe that you can too.

Clearly

Let me just say, I have had my Jessica Simpson clear heels for a few years now and though many viewed clear shoes as tacky,I have been able to wear them with EVERYTHING! So when lucite.. and clear pumps made a reappearance.. I felt even seen and more confident with my decision to keep those items rotating. Here are a few items I’ve picked up, thinking about, or completely inspired by!

In-Vested

I tried to ignore this one hard… but when I recently went to target I tried on the W Houston White vest and fell in love. It was a perfect fit and gave my waist a more cinched look. To know me is to know how much i love mixing feminine and masculine pieces so I figured I would indulge in this trend but of course without breaking the bank. Here are some great options to shop.

Wide Leg Me Please

As I have been accepting and adjusting to my new body… I have also been paying more attention to the type of pants that flatter my curves…. and I have found that I have been loving the wide leg pants on me and I want more of it! Wide leg pants are just universally flattering to me and give a more elevated look. I am certainly over the skinny legs as they tend to make me look unbalanced. Ive thrown some below to consider!

For the Frill of it!

Instead of reaching for the typical Spring florals… I am gunning for the neutral frills! Billowy blouses and pants, pleates, feathers… anyting that give a little drama..But can be paired with many other items in your closet. This is what I consider elevated statement pieces that can live beyond that one time wear. I often pair these items with simple streamlined pieces. I wouldnt go to crazy here if you are not used to the frills , but I have added some that wont break the bank for you to try!

a New Cap-tin in Town

I have been obsessing over the Baker Boy hat, ( newsboy, pilot hat etc.) for a while now. As much as I love a good yankees cap and fedora, I am ready to switch it up a bit. Hats are just my love language and always will make any outfit super cool! Ive already picked up this one from Gigi Pip, but I will be gunning for the Ruslan Baginskiy next. Ive added a few cute ones below to shop!

I hope this helped or inspired you to try something new this spring without breaking the bank . As always, these are suggestive. Stay focussed on finding your personal style and only bringing in items that align with your lifestyle. Stay tuned for the next 5 trends I am bringing into my spring/ summer wardrobe! Leave me a comment and let me know if this helped in any kind of way !

Stay Instyle, but keep it Intentional!
